How to Prepare for AFCAT Exam?

The beginning of your pre-final year of graduation is the ideal time to begin your AFCAT Exam preparation.

For a better evaluation of oneself before beginning the preparation, we urge you to attempt the Model Papers available at https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/.

If one begins methodically and diligently preparing for the Exam, it can be passed on the first try despite its moderate level of difficulty.

  • Mathematical aptitude: The capacity for math The sole restriction is the time limit, and the questions are of Matric level. This restriction can be lifted with practice. One can begin by practicing the fundamental questions found in well-known books on quantitative aptitude, including those by R. S. Aggarwal.
  • English: The questions are graduate-level in English. For people who regularly read books and newspapers and are familiar with the fundamentals of grammar (nouns, Tenses, verbs, etc.) It won’t be difficult to learn English.
  • Reasoning: Strategically, the candidate has the opportunity to raise his or her overall score in this part. The majority of the questions on the AFCAT Written Exam are in the verbal and nonverbal reasoning category. With practice, the questions are manageable and rather straightforward.
  • General Knowledge: To ace the General Awareness Section, one must possess a foundational understanding of geography, politics, history, economics, daily science, and current events. This portion is the most challenging for the majority of candidates.
